About the Crews of Svaha

At svaha, people naturally connect — through music, movement, conversation, and shared moments. From these connections, different crews have formed over time. Some crews were created independently and later became linked to svaha; others were born from friendships that started inside the space. None of the crews are formally “under” svaha, but they are connected by the same spirit: gathering, creating, and moving together.

Svaha Crew

The Svaha Crew

The svaha Crew forms the heart of the space. We run svaha, but outside of it, we all live completely different lives — house dancers, hip-hop dancers, composers, vocalists, dessert artists, professional bartenders, flight attendants, appraisers, and real estate agents. Despite our differences, we share one purpose: to create moments of joy. We plan events, host parties, and craft experiences that connect people through sound, energy, and community. For us, svaha is where creativity and people come together.

Calm Gang

The Hiking Crew

The Hiking Crew formed naturally among people who wanted to slow down, breathe, and enjoy nature together. What began as simple walks around Inwang Mountain grew into regular hikes across Seoul’s trails. For this crew, hiking isn’t about speed — it’s about shared footsteps, easy conversations, and calm views over the city. Sometimes they play quiet music or share warm tea, and sometimes they simply walk in silence. Each hike becomes a small memory that brings everyone a little closer.

Calm Gang

The Recurve Bow Crew

Formed by friends who met through svaha, the Gokgung Crew gathers in nearby Sajik-dong to practice traditional Korean archery. Through this practice, members share the value of experiencing Korea’s deep-rooted culture, emotion, and history. It’s a place where tradition meets community, and where each arrow carries the stillness and beauty of old Seoul.

Futsal Crew

The Boxing Crew

The Boxing Crew is made up of people who connected through svaha and wanted to challenge themselves together. With a sandbag installed inside svaha, they train under the guidance of their crew lead — and sometimes spar outdoors near Inwang Mountain. Through shared punches, sweat, and effort, they grow closer and discover movements most people never try in daily life.

Calm Gang

The Clam-gang Crew

The movers and doers. They run real businesses, host gatherings, and keep the city’s creative spirit alive. Beyond the bar, they train together — boxing, hiking up Inwang Mountain, and embracing the natural rhythm of Seoul. Their sessions reflect the heart of togetherness: moving as one, sharing energy, and building strength in body and mind.

Futsal Crew

The Futsal Crew

What began as casual games between svaha guests and managers has grown into one of the most active crews. Every week brings new players, new fields, and new friendships. It’s less about competition and more about connecting through movement, laughter, and teamwork. This crew embodies the svaha spirit: play with heart, stay kind, and move together.
